Carrot muttaikose poriyal is a mild poriyal which can be served with spicy gravies...This is served in the kalyana veedu often in our side...Sometimes they add beans also in this recipe...It tastes divine with the kalyana veedu style sambar...I have added only one green chilli, since my lil.one will be eating...You can add more if u want it more spicy...

Moong dal | 1 tblsp |
Mustard | 1 tsp |
Urad dal | 1 tsp |
Green chilli | 1 slitted |
Curry leaves | 1 sprig |
Coconut scrapped | 1/8cup |
Shallot | 2 or 3 |
Salt | to taste |
Oil | 2 tsp |
Method
Soak moong dal for 10 minutes in water...Heat a kadai with oil and temper with mustard, urad dal,curry leaves,green chilli and shallots...Add the chopped carrot and soaked moong dal to it...Potato poriyal |
