Mangai Pachadi / Raw Mango Pachadi /Side dish recipes



Mango...Mango...Mango....I like mangoes in all its forms...The season has started and everyone will be enjoying mangoes....Can't wait till it become ripe?...Try this raw mango pachadi....I got this recipe from my friend's mom...It has sour, sweet,salt,little bit hot due to green chillies...We all liked it...even my lil.one....


Ingredients

Raw mango1
Turmeric powder1/2 tsp
Saltto taste
Jaggery/Brown sugar1/4 cup
Coconut(ground)1/4 cup
To Temper

Mustard1 tsp
Urad dal1 tsp
Green chillies2
Curry leaves1 sprig

Method
Peel skin of a raw mango and cut it into medium size cubes...Boil it with little bit of turmeric and salt...Add water just to immerse ...

When it become soft, add jaggery /brown sugar and mix well...

When jaggery has melted, add the ground coconut paste and mix ...Ground coconut with little water...

Give it a boil and then switch off the flame...Temper with mustard, urad dal, curry leaves and green chillies...
