Mambazha Mor Kuzhambu / Yogurt Gravy with Mango


Mambazham/ Mango is the king of all fruits and every dish made with mango also have the same qualities..I bought a raw mango to make Mangai Pachadi , a few days back, but after I cut it open, it was fully ripe..So ended up making this Mambazha Mor Kuzhzmbu...It tastes soo awesome and I'm so glad that I tried this..It's a very easy gravy which can be made easily and fastly..perfect for the busy morning cooking..Do give a try and ,mango lovers will enjoy it for sure..

Ingredients

Yogurt/Curd1/2 cup
Turmeric powder1/2 tsp
Mango1 medium
Saltto taste
Coconut slices1/8 cup
Red chillies
Curry leaves1 sprig
Fenugreek seeds/
Vendhayam
1/4 tsp
To Temper

Urad dal1/2 tsp
Curry leaves1 sprig
Oil1 tsp

Method


Cut mango as small slices and boil it with turmeric powder and salt till it gets cooked well..Heat a small pan with little oil and roast red chillies, coconut and fenugreek...

Grind the roasted ingredients...Mash the cooked mango..Add the ground paste and yogurt/ curd..mix everything well...

Heat it till stars to boil and switch off the flame..Temper with mustard, urad dal and curry leaves..
