Peanut Sundal / Verkadalai Sundal


Peanut Sundal is one of my favorite among the sundals...Peanut is very rich in protein and nutrients..Also it's a very filling and healthy evening snack...Easy to prepare too..Do give a try and enjoy..

Ingredients

Peanut / Verkadalai1 cup
Coconut slices4
Mustard1/2 tsp
Urad dal1/2 tsp
Curry leaves1sprig
Dry red chilli1 or 2
Oil1 tsp
saltas needed

Method
Take peanut in a vessel and add required water..Pressure cook it for 3 whistles and in simmer for 5 minutes..

In a pan,heart some oil and temper with mustard, urad dal, curry leaves, red chilli..Add the boiled peanut and saute for a minute..

Add shredded coconut and give a stir and then switch off the flame..
