Lemon Rasam


Lemon rasam is one of the easiest yet tasty rasam to prepare if you are bored of the usual rasams..Tastes soo good with rice..Squeeze the lemon juice just before serving for best tasting rasam...Try it for a change and you will enjoy the result..

Ingredients

Lemon1 big
Turmeric powder1 small pinch
Hinga pinch
saltas needed
Cilantro4 sprig
To Grind

Pepper1 tsp
Jeera1 tsp
Garlic3 pods
To Temper

Mustard1 tsp
Dry red chilli1 or 2
Oil1 tsp

Method

Pound the pepper, cumion seeds and garlic pods..slightly..Take in a bowl and add chopped cilantro..

Add turmeric powder, salt, hing/ asafoetida and water..Mix everything well..Temper with little oil the mustard and dry red chillies..

Add the tempering to the water and let it become frothy...Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, just before serving and serve hot..
