Thuvaram Paruppu Thogayal / Toor dal Thogayal


Thuvaram paruppu Thogayal and rasam with rice is one of the comfort foods in our homes..So easy to prepare yet so satisfying meal it is..I enjoy eating these even when I'm running fever...You can add more red chillies i fyou like it spicy...I usually don't add more than 2, since my kiddo will not eat...Do try this easy thogayal and enjoy..

Ingredients

  Toordal
2 tblsp
Dry red chilli2
Garlic1 pod
saltas needed
Coconut slices3
Tamarind paste1 pinch
Curry leaves2 or 3

Method

Heat little oil in a kadai and roast toor dal a nd dry red chillies till golden brown..Let it cool a bit..

Grind them together with coconut slices, garlic, salt,curry leaves and pinch tamarind..Grind adding little water as a little coarse paste..
