Kadalai Paruppu Sundal / Channa dal Sundal


Kadalai paruppu Sundal / channa dal sundal is one among the sundal varieties we prepare often,since there's no need to soak the dal ahead...very simple to prepare yet tasty sundal..Do try and enjoy this healthy snack..

Ingredients

Channa dal / Kadalai Paruppu1/2 cup
Coconut slices4
Mustard1/2 tsp
Urad dal1/2 tsp
Curry leaves1sprig
Dry red chilli1 or 2
Oil1 tsp
saltas needed

Method
Take channa dal in a vessel and add required water..Pressure cook it for 2 whistles and in simmer for 5 minutes..

In a pan,heart some oil and temper with mustard, urad dal, curry leaves, red chilli..Add the boiled channa dal  and saute for a minute..

Add shredded coconut and give a stir and then switch off the flame..
