Kashmiri naan...I have tasted it once in a restaurant...liked it and wanted to try...In kashmiri cuisine, they make slightly sweet kind of breads and spicy side dishes...I was searching for glazed cherries for this dish..but can't find them...So used cherry jam instead...I made it last night and we all enjoyed it...especially my kiddo...Serves good as lunch box dish too...Try this yummy naan and enjoy...

All purpose flour/Maida | 1 1/2 cup |
Water | 3/4 cup |
Sugar | 3/4 tblsp |
Cashews | 1 tblsp |
Raisins | 1 tsp |
Salt | a pinch |
Yeast | 2 tsp |
Dates chopped | 1 tblsp |
Almonds | 1 tblsp |
Cherry jam/ Glazed cherry | 2 tblsp |
Ghee/ butter | for brushing |
Grated Coconut (Coarse) | 1/4 cup |
Method
Roll the balls into small round....Place the stuffing in the centre....
Close it and roll it in the shape of tear drop...Place on foiled tray and broil for 2 minutes,..While broiling place in the top most rack of oven...Take out tray and change sides and again broil for 1 minute...
The baked naan looks like this....Brush with butter on top...Enjoy hot and yummy kashmiri naan...
