Finger Fish / Baked Fish Fingers




Fish fingers is my boy's favourite snack now a days...Once he ate it in a restaurant and liked it a lot...So I searched and find this simple recipe here...It's very easy to make...I baked it, since we all can eat without guilt of oil consumption...You can shallow fry it too, if you want...It's a good appetizer for parties and also a healthy evening snack for kids...


Ingredients

Fish(Tilapia)1/4 lb
Whole wheat flour1 tblsp
Saltas needed
Pepperas needed
Egg
Bread crumbs1/3 cup
Oil1 tsp
Cilantrofor garnish

Method

Clean fish well and cut them as strips/ finger shape...In a bowl, take whole wheat flour and add required salt and pepper and mix well...

Coat the fish strips slightly with the flour mixture...Crack 2 eggs in a bowl and whisk them well...

Dip the fish strips in the egg and then coat them with the bread crumbs....Slightly roast the bread crumbs in a pan(for better aroma) before using....Lightly drizzle oil upon  fish strips...

Place the strips in a parchment paper lined tray and bake it at 400 degree farenheit (205 degree celcius) for 10 to 15 minutes till golden brown ,crispy and well cooked...

Enjoy with tomato sauce or mayo...
