Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken is my favorite in restaurant menus..wanted to make that in home too..and achieved the smooth creamy texture as we get in restaurants..adding cream does the magic I think..If you are health conscious you can omit that, but I can't assure about the texture..Once in a while it's ok I think..We had it with naan..tastes soo delicious...Goes well with chapathi, pulavs too...Do try and enjoy this creamy goodness...

Chicken boneless
1/2 lb
Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp+1/2 tblsp
Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp+1 tsp
Saltas needed
    green chillies
     2 or 3
Red onion
Oilas needed
Kasoori methi2 pinch
Tomato1 big
Butter1 tsp
Cooking cream

Clean the chicken pieces and marinate it with turmeric, salt and red chilli powder...

Let it marinate for 15 to 30 minutes and shallow fry in oil..Remove from oil and keep aside..

In the same pan, add cumin and chopped red onion...Fry till onion turn transparent..

Add choppe dgreen chillies, cashew, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and kasoori methi..Then add chopped tomatoes and mix well...

Cover and cook in medium flame for 20 minutes...Let it coola bit and make a fine paste out of everything...

In a pan/ kadai, add butter and melt it...Add the paste, salt and sugar to it...Cook for 5 minutes...

After raw flavor is gone, add cooking cream...Mix then add the cooked chicken and give a boil..

Serve hot with chapathis/rotis...
