Porikadalai Chutney / Roasted Gram dal Chutney


Fried gram dal chutney here I post is very similar to my earlier post channa dal chutney....It tasted equally good as that and can be prepared in a jiffy...Adjust spice level according to your taste...Do try and enjoy this tasty chutney...

Ingredients

Red onion1/2 big
Tomato1 small
Red chilli2
Fennel seeds1/2 tsp
Porikadalai/
Fried gram dal
1 t blsp
Coconut slicesfew 
saltas needed
To Temper

Mustard1/2 tsp
Urad dal1/2 tsp
Curry leaves1 sprig
Oil1 tsp
Method

Heat some oil in a pan and fry onion, tomato,red chillies and fennel seeds...Take coconut and fried gram dal in mixer and grind it along with onion tomato as a paste...

In a wide pan temper and pour the paste with little water, add salt  and cook it till it bubbles...Switch off and remove from heat...

Serve hot with idli, dosa...
