Canteloupe Sorbet

Canteloupe Sorbet is the my personal favorite among the 5 sorbets i'm posting...I didn't want to corrupt it's pure taste with any addition...So this is a simple sorbet containing only the fruit...Do try this simple piece of heaven and enjoy...

Ingredients

IngredientMeasurement
Canteloupe1/2 small
Sugar1/4 cup
Lime juice2 tsp
Water1/4 cup

Method

Prepare simple syrup using equal amount of sugar and water...just dissolving sugar is enough...Let the syrup cool...Take  a big mixer jar and put the canteloupe slices inside...

Make a smooth paste out of it...Use ripe fruits for better taste and texture...Also we can add less sugar...Take puree in a freezer safe container...Add lime juice and the cooled sugar syrup and mix well...

Freeze for 1 hour and take out...Mix well using a fork...Again freeze...Repeat the same 5 or 6 times...After 6 times, let it freeze overnight or at least 10 hours...Serve on chilled bowls...
