Paal Kozhukattai/Rice balls in coconut milk sauce

Paal kozhukattai is the one which my mom likes so much...So my grandma used to make it for her often...Still remember, when we come from school,my grandma bringing this dish...Usually they make it this way...sometimes in brown colour, adding jaggery and shredded coconut(instead of sugar and coconut milk)...They also add dried ginger(sukku) in that...Will post that version soon...

Ingredients

IngredientMeasurement
Rice flour1/2 c up
Coconnut milk1/2 cup
Sugar1/2 cup
Cardamom2 or 3
Method

Heat water in a wide vessel....Take rice flour, add little salt and add hot water to it and prepare dough of idiyappam flour consistency....Make small balls out of the dough....

When the water stars to boil add the balls to the water...They will sink in the bottom...

Once they are cooked they will rise up and float...now add the coconut milk(and milk if u want)...

Give it a boil and add sugar and cardamom....Cook for 2 minutes and then switch off the flame...

Enjoy hot or chilled as u wish....
